BeamYourScreen was founded in 2004 by Erik Boos and Mark Zondler as a provider of innovative web collaboration solutions for small and medium sized enterprises.

The product range is comprised of desktop sharing solutions for online meetings, online presentations, web conferences, and remote support. Users especially benefit from significantly reduced travel time and travel expenses. At present, more than 2,000 companies in 40 countries worldwide use the BeamYourScreen technology. The makeup of these customers is predominantly small and medium sized enterprises but also large corporations such as Toshiba, Yamaha, and Roche.

Company History


Erik Boos and Mark Zondler meet while students at Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU) in Germany. After graduating, they both become Country Manager Germany for Silicon Valley based Automatos.
2003 The idea for BeamYourScreen is born.
2004 BeamYourScreen GmbH is established in Mannheim, Germany.
2005 After a bit more than twelve months in development, the first product “BeamYourScreen” is launched in February 2005. At the end of the year the company services 100 corporate customers and employs six people.
2006 Soon it becomes clear that the market demands special solutions tailored towards specific use cases. As a result, two new products are developed, Beam2Support and Beam2Present. Based on the BeamYourScreen core technology, those new products offer special applications for remote support and online presentations respectively. By the end of the year, BeamYourScreen services 800 corporate customers in 30 countries with a total of 10 employees.
2007 BeamYourScreen already services 1300 corporate customers in 40 countries. Beam2Present is awarded the Best Innovations Award Category Communication by German Initiative Mittelstand.
2008 Launch of our new website with online shop and improved MyAccount section.
2009 Release of version 3.0 with improved core technology, new features and support for Mac OS.
